Seller and prices
Products on this site are sold by Emsden Studio, ABN 71 729 409 987, trading as Nightshift Builds. Unless a page says otherwise, prices are in Australian dollars. Emsden Studio is not GST-registered, so GST is not added to the purchase price.
Tradie Toolkit for Android is published by Emsden Studio and sold through Google Play. The price and any taxes or currency conversion shown at checkout are handled by Google Play. Version 1 is a paid app with no subscription or in-app purchase.
Digital delivery and licence
Download products are delivered by email after payment. A purchase gives the buyer a non-exclusive licence to use the product for their own personal or business work. It does not permit resale or public redistribution.
Tradie Toolkit is not offered for sale on this site. Existing web-app buyers keep their private access and support rights. The terms shown at the time of their purchase continue to apply.
Tradie Toolkit limits
Tradie Toolkit works out job costs, margin, budgets and GST, and produces quotes and invoices as PDFs, from figures and details supplied by the user. It is not accounting, legal, or tax advice. The buyer remains responsible for prices, scope, terms, GST registration status, and the content of any quote or invoice sent to a client, including whether it meets the tax invoice requirements that apply to their business.
The Android app stores settings, quotes and invoices locally on the device. Nothing is stored on Nightshift servers, so the buyer is responsible for keeping their own backups using the app's backup file. Clearing the app's storage, uninstalling the app or losing the device without a backup can lose that data. The app does not provide cloud storage, cross-device sync, payment collection, accounting software integration, scheduling, CRM or supplier pricing. Costing, quotes, invoices, PDFs, backup and restore work offline after installation.
Refunds and Australian Consumer Law
Google Play purchase cancellation and refund requests are also subject to Google Play's processes and policies. A change-of-mind refund is not otherwise offered after a digital product has been delivered. This does not remove any right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.
Products come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. If a product has a major failure, the buyer may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement. A minor problem must be remedied within a reasonable time. The appropriate remedy depends on the problem and the law.
To report a fault or request a remedy, email hello@nightshiftbuilds.com with the purchase email, receipt, product name, and a description of the problem. Emsden Studio is responsible for responding as the seller.
Support and changes
Reasonable support is provided by email for delivery and product faults. Nightshift may update a product to fix defects, improve compatibility, or keep a hosted access service operating. Material limits will not be hidden behind an update.
Read the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission guidance on repairs, replacements, and refunds.
