Tradie Toolkit for Android

The Android app does not require an account. Emsden Studio does not collect or receive the business details, ABN, logo, payment details, cost calculations, client names, client addresses or ABNs, job scopes, saved items, quotes or invoices entered in the app.

That information is stored in the app's local storage on the device. PDFs and backup files are made on the device. When a user chooses Share or Back up, Android's share sheet transfers the selected file to the app, person or service chosen by the user. The recipient then handles the file under its own privacy terms.

The app contains links to this policy, the terms and email support. Opening a web link uses the device's browser. Contacting support sends Emsden Studio the email address, message and any information or files the user chooses to include.

Google Play processes the app purchase and distribution under Google's terms and privacy policy. Depending on the user's Google settings, Google Play may provide Emsden Studio with sales information and diagnostic reports such as crash or application-not-responding reports. Tradie Toolkit does not include an advertising, analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDK.

Android storage, security and deletion

The app uses Android's application sandbox and app-private storage. Files selected for sharing are exposed to the chosen receiving app through Android's controlled file-sharing mechanism. No method of device storage is risk-free, so users should protect access to their device and keep backup files somewhere they trust.

App data remains on the device until the user deletes it, clears the app's storage or uninstalls the app. Items moved to the in-app Recycle bin are kept locally for up to 30 days unless the user restores or permanently deletes them sooner. Business includes a Clear all saved data action. Backup files exported to another location remain there until the user deletes them; Emsden Studio cannot access or delete those copies.

The website and legacy web app

When you buy a current download product, its payment provider processes the card payment and supplies the purchase details needed for delivery and support. Nightshift does not receive or store your full card number.

Tradie Toolkit is not sold on this site. For existing web-app buyers, Nightshift retains the email address and purchase status needed to keep the private access link working, resend it, provide support and respond to refunds.

If you email for support, Emsden Studio receives the address, message, and any information you choose to include.

Analytics

Nightshift uses a self-hosted Umami analytics service to understand page visits and broad traffic patterns. It is not used for advertising profiles. Do not include private information in a page URL.

Legacy web-app data

Your business details (including your ABN, logo and payment details), cost calculations, client names, addresses and ABNs, job scopes, quotes and invoices are stored in this browser on your device. They are not uploaded to Nightshift. PDFs are made on the device and go only where you send them. Clearing browser site data removes this data, and it does not sync to another phone, so keep your own backup file using Back up now in the app.

The first unlock and access recovery contact the checkout service. A saved access token is checked again when the app is online so a refunded access link can be revoked.

Service providers

Payment providers handle current download purchases. Resend handles purchase and legacy access emails. Google will handle future Google Play distribution and app payments. The site and access service use hosting providers needed to deliver pages and support existing buyers. These providers may process technical request data under their own terms.

Access, correction, retention and deletion

Purchase and support records are retained only for delivery, support, fraud prevention, accounting and legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified when they are no longer needed. Email hello@nightshiftbuilds.com to ask what purchase or support information is held, to correct it, or to request deletion where it can lawfully be deleted. Tradie Toolkit's local Android and web-app data can be removed from Business on the device.
